The Joinery

2533 W Homer St, Chicago

This spacious (2,400sf) space is ideal for those looking to celebrate in a building with some eclectic history and the aesthetic to match. Cool but cozy, with plenty of natural light pouring in from an impressive 800sf skylight. Rental includes a cocktail bar, tables, and chairs. Chez Wedding Venue

But appearance isn’t all that’s modern…Chez offers tours of the space via FaceTime or Skype (ideal for those out of state). Rental fees include full use of the 5,000sf loft and mezzanine levels (2 to 5pm vendor load-in and prep, 5 to midnight for event, 12 to 1:30am vendor load-out ; Plus all pre and post cleaning). Ignite Studios

401 N Armour St, Chicago

Artists agree: there’s nothing quite like it. Ignite offers three unique spaces, which can be combined to accommodate a large crowd. There’s a serene urban garden (2,400SF) displaying glass art and fruit trees, an upper rooftop (3,290SF) with dramatic views of the city, and a modern indoor space (3,290SF) with a wall of windows overlooking the tranquil garden. The space will hold 250 for a seated dinner or 350 for a standing reception. Make your event a memorable one by showcasing local glass-blowing artists at work! Your guests will love this raw, artistic space…and you’ll love having a dressing room and reception area as well as WiFi.

Salvage One

1840 W Hubbard, Chicago

With wood floors, exposed brick, and large windows, this multi-level (60,000sf) space is beautiful and unique. The first floor offers an indoor bar and ceremony space featuring wooden church pews and vintage bars (capacity: 175-250). The second floor has a generous reception space with a dance floor and two stages (capacity: 250). There’s also a three-room suite, comprised of two rooms that are joined by a common area. Bright and beautiful, this newly renovated space is full of natural light. The rental is priced by the hour (20% discount for 6hr+) and includes an on-site event manager and the use of their prep kitchen. Also enjoy:

This 2,200sf lofted space (capacity: 150-250) offers WiFi, a built-in DJ booth, and an outdoor loading/storage area for vendors. There is ample street parking for guests but also optional valet. Plus rental packages include 2-hr catering set-up and 1.5-hr breakdown as well as use of their 100+ inch screen and projector. The space has an upper balcony level, two ground floor bathrooms, and A/V equipment (available upon request).

Kitchen Chicago

KC is a commercial kitchen with a stunning 3,400sf loft-style event space featuring a 400sf overlook area. Brick walls, full length windows, and cathedral-height ceilings are sure to impress your guests. An ideal candidate for true foodies, each rental includes use of their commercial kitchen. North Fork Farm

Highland Loft

The new kid in town (Chicagoland to be exact), HL is a whopping 18,000sf space that can hold as many as 600 people. Use by dividing as needed or enjoy in its entirety. This picturesque third floor venue features window-lined walls with brick original to the building. High ceilings and vintage lighting fixtures give this large, modern space some surprisingly cozy charm.
